My deepest gratitude to Oiemoto Sen Soshitsu XVI, to Sen Masako, and especially to Hounsai Sosho (Daisosho Sen Genshitsu) - may
he rest in peace - for giving me the opportunity to experience and study the Way of Tea in the best
possible environment, for sharing the spirit of Chado and their treasury of knowledge of Japanese culture with kindness,
patience and generosity, for making me and my classmates feel so very welcome, and for so much more... My thanks also to my dear teachers and instructors,
to the artisans who allowed me to do kengaku at their workplaces, and
to all employees of Urasenke Gakuen and Tankosha.
